Boukan News, 07/04/2025 – Dominican ultranationalists have demanded that Haitian nationals without legal status leave the Dominican Republic by April 24, 2025. Their motivation stems from the United States government’s decision to classify all Haitians who arrived under the Biden program as illegal immigrants, effective April 24. Otherwise, they will act against them in the most horrific ways. It should be recalled that in 1937, Dominicans massacred approximately 35,000 Haitians under the authority of President Raphael Leonidas Trujillo.

Earlier today, Dominican immigration authorities, along with armed civilians, conducted an operation in the “Punta Cana Bavaro” area where several Haitian residents live. They began by firing into the air before launching a search operation by brutally breaking down residents’ doors. Dominican authorities expelled the Haitian immigrants very early in the morning, around 3:00 a.m. The police arrived while the occupants were still asleep. All individuals present, including children, the elderly, and women, were affected by the incident. This situation has raised significant concern among the Haitian immigrant community.

A video showed a Dominican soldier executing two Haitian nationals on a vacant lot. This action took place in a wooded area known to Haitian residents as “Nan Kabrit.”

Many residents of Haiti have been impacted by a criminal incident that occurred this morning. A person named Jacky sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen and is currently undergoing medical treatment at the hospital.

Another Haitian was shot in the testicle. He passed away consequently. Currently, around 1,000 Haitians have indicated their intention to return to Haiti at the earliest opportunity. Unfortunately, they do not possess the required resources to facilitate this return. They request that the Haitian authorities take timely action to facilitate their return, noting the seriousness of their situation.

They urgently request assistance from American, Canadian, French, and other diaspora aid organizations to help them address this critical situation. They are currently destitute and face significant risks when attempting to procure necessities due to the high likelihood of attacks and fatalities.
