About 100 Haitian government officials attended the funeral of Patrick Boisvert’s mother in Miami!
Boukan News, 07/24/2023 – On July 22, 2023, In St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Miami, Florida, had a royal funeral.
First, we must offer our condolences to the Minister of Finance of Haiti, Mr. Michel Patrick Boisvert. His mother, Marie Rose Bertha Bélizaire, died on July 6, 2023, in Naples, Florida. The Minister accompanied by a large number of individuals, coming directly from Haiti, attended the funeral on July 22, 2023.
According to a source, in this painful circumstance, at least 4 ministers and many senior officials of the Haitian government traveled to pay their respect to Mr. Boisvert’s mother. We can name a few of them:
The Minister of External Cooperation, Mr. Ricard Pierre, the representative of the “Democratic and People’s Sector-SDP”
Minister of Trade and Industry, Ricardin Saint-Jean. The latter, upon his arrival at this ministry, did nothing to combat the galloping inflation that exceeds 50%. This has plunged the country into an alarming food situation, to such an extent that the United Nations appealed to donors to urgently help Haiti. Thus, 100,000 people are at risk of not eating in the country in the next month.
The Governor of the Central Bank, Mr. Jean Baden Dubois. He has been in office since December 2015 and enjoys a reputation as a crazy spender of public funds. He has fun doing favors to any influential person in the political regime to maintain his position.
Minister of the Environment, Mr. James Cadet is an absolute ineffective leader who is always pandering, it only makes “burning money”.
The President of the Court of Auditors, Marie Nelta Féthière, could not miss this opportunity to spend a little time in Miami, far from the deafening noises of the gunfire. She took office on October 7, 2022, and no one knows exactly what she is doing, especially after Mehu Garcon died.The Vice-President of the Court of Auditors, Pierre Volmar Demesyeux, was also at the funeral, despite the presence of the President.

Tragically, if you add up airline tickets, hotel fees, food, transportation, etc. it seems that all this would be paid by the already failed Haitian economy.
In conclusion, it is absolutely unspeakable and surreal to see all these government officials travel at the same time to attend the funeral of a minister’s mother fully paid for the government. In clear terms, the catastrophic situation in Haiti with the actions of gangs, according to many credible reports, requires urgent attention. Yet, the head of the National Police, Mr. Frantz Elbé, as a good drinker, was in Miami during this time of acute crisis, “Pou di nou tèm”?
