After I assisted at the remembrance event of the Rwandan genocide against the Tutsis yesterday, to which I was invited, my respect for H. E. Paul Kagame grew even bigger by 10 folds. The testimonies I heard and the resolve to eternal UNITY I witnessed were deep and inspired me to write this acrostic to a great world leader whom everyone should follow!

RWANDA REMEMBERS
Ravaged, devastated, destroyed by a senseless war,
Wounded deeply in the heart, bearing the scar
At the very memory of our remembrance
Never again will we allow on our soil a repeat of violence
Distant recollection of a past yet present we all want to permanently dismiss
And forever bury at the depthness of the abyss.
Renew, unite, remember
Explicit terms to portray the sustained future of a great nation
Mission gloriously accomplished
Erasing discrimination, division, and life devaluation
Meant to be done by one special leader, not selfish
Born to spread hope peacefully
Even to the most desperate country,
Rwanda is the light… the way to salvation
Shining above all nations as the lantern of sovereignty
